Doginals and DRC-20, explained
Everything you need to understand inscriptions on Dogecoin before you buy or sell.
What is a Doginal?
A Doginal is a digital artefact inscribed directly onto the Dogecoin blockchain. The image or text is stored in Dogecoin transaction data itself, so it lives on the chain rather than on a web server.
What is a DRC-20 token?
DRC-20 is a token standard on Dogecoin. Tokens are defined by inscribed JSON that deploys a ticker with a maximum supply and a per-mint limit, and holders mint and transfer them with further inscriptions.
Is Doginal Dog custodial?
No. Sellers sign a partial transaction that only becomes valid once a buyer pays the asking price. Your assets stay in your wallet until a sale settles on-chain, and the marketplace never holds your keys.
What fees does Doginal Dog charge?
You pay the Dogecoin network fee for the transaction, plus the marketplace fee shown on the listing before you confirm. Nothing is charged for browsing, listing or cancelling a listing.
Where do the images come from?
Inscription content is read directly from the Dogecoin blockchain and served from doginaldog.shop. No third-party marketplace CDN is used.
